was a disapointed not to see the rs80 wheels as part of the recent wheel review in cplus, just to see how they measured up to the other top rated hoops on test, anyone got an opinion on how theyd do?

yes, I was also disappointed that the top 3 or 4 wheels that crop up on the various forums just didn't feature and there was no nice benchmark of a selected bunch of handbuilts since that is the usual comparison. I figured that reviewers are dependent on the freebies they can blag from the suppliers.

Lot's of views on wheels in the Road Buying Advice forum and Road Beginners BTW since there has been a lot of interest in the last few months.

I have the RS80s and I have some old handbuilts (Open Pro with Record hubs), and both are lovely but with slightly different features. Hence, a lot will come down to choice, budget, weight and intended usage. Trying to find a reviewer who aligns with your list of priorities is the hardest thing to determine.

S'unlikely to fly given that this site is owned by future publishing.

The reviews eventually make their way onto the bikeradar site anyway.

The wheel review was in the March issue and the April one has been out for a week or so. As Rick says, wouldn't be surprised to see it on the BR home page shortly (or at least the selected reviews in the product review section).

ah fair enough. don't want to annoy the powers that be, will just wait for it to surface.
