Good Mehning all.

3 hours sleep is not enough :(

Still only 12 hours at work to go... but on the plus side I should hopefully get my car back today or tomorrow fingers crossed.

Piece out!

Good drive in this AM and I am at work armed with an extra large cappuccino complete with an extra shot vended by the very hot Slovenian girl from the coffee shop below our office.
Today should be a busy one which is good as time will pass by quickly.

    Good Morning Freaks!

Nice ride in this morning. A bit cold, but a least the headwind's dropped. Going to be a busy one today, but coffee and bacon will keep me sustained.

Found an abandoned wheelbarrow (in a ditch...) on Saturday, so spent yesterday beating it back into shape (and to remove the concrete coating) and then painted it a nice shade of stealthy black. Pity I can't get the paint completely off my hands through. This has a; ensured me many brownie points with Mrs C and b; saved me lots of shiney bike part funds.

Morning all. Bloody sore today spent 7 and a half hours at Glentress yesterday, haven't been for a proper ride since October forgot how much the next day hurts. Took one of my mates who hasnt been on a bike for years, he is now hooked and is already looking to get a decent bike.

Had some kind of 24hr virus thing on Friday but my immune system started kicking off against the invaders. It was a shame it spent all Friday night killing the virus off I was just lying there at 2am listening to my heart banging and the blood rushing round in my head.

S'funny how you always feel much better after you've been ill IYKWIM.

    Morning chaperoonies,
Other than it being Mehday morning, I feel pretty good, i think after 3 weeks this cold might finally be lifting?
Did a practice race yesterday, finished 5th overall and 4th in catagory which is bleeding fantastic and probably wont be repeated? Tricky course with a couple of ditches you hit at 45' which left a few laying at the bottom of them with head pointing the wrong way

Today i will be sorting out the rubbish at work from the weekend, amazing how grown men act like children when not being supervised!

    Anywhoooo

    morning pimps

    good weekend all??

today is filled with working out my finances and pretending to do work! actually it will be less of the pretending as i actually have to do some work, meh!

fridays ride over at Afan was a good one, i am still very unfit, which is really annoying considering i have been training every week for the past 8, lots and lots of cardio and lots of cycling but i was constantly struggling on the way up!

The way down on the other hand! :D

I actually enjoyed the climb at afan last week

Gooood afternoon crudcatcher folks, today I had a lecture from someone with an accent that is so hard to understand that at some points I actually thought he was just making noises instead of saying words.

Anyway I'm off home in a minute, do not intend to sit through another lecture where the only recognisable words are sheep, grass and lamb.

I use the HRM on my Garmin everytime I ride. (except when the battery goes on the chest strap and I think my heart's stopped... ). I don't train to it as such, just keep an eye on the average.

    Afternoon everyone!
I'm in a good mood today, considering it's a Monday. It might have somet to do with the fact I have Friday off, and the following 8 working days. Win 8)
Lots to do before I go, but I'm moving house on my time off, so I'm quite excited. The commuter bike will be getting it's much needed (not needed at all, but wanted) upgrade. So that will be happening next week hopefully.

Better get some dinner in me thinks.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Did it have its wheels on backwards?

Ha Ha this happend to me yesterday while on the practice lap for the race, i was sitting in the car after with a heart rate of 135

Once i found out where i should be, and found out what that felt like on the bike, it makes all so much easier to stay in that rough area (does that make sense?)

Quite possibly, it was seized. I have since, removed the wheel, fix the puncture and given it a bit of a greasing.

I may have a need to be your way shortly, would a site meeting to discuss fat people and trail centres be beneficial?

No idea, main contractor is putting together a schedule of works based on orders being placed this week.

If all goes well and the job goes ahead I'll be on site early next week.

Circa Cardiff, thats all I know.
