nah just thugs, half decent boxer would rip em apart
my fave knockdown recently was way down in bantemweight Nonito Donaire
quality is naff but skip to about 2.10 knockout is around 2.20 freaking jackhammer

Oh I agree, in a boxing match they would have no chance. Too slow, awful technique. But down a dark alley at night, I would rather meet a pro boxer than lenny lol.

lenny maclean was a very promising amatuer boxer, i've read both of their books (shaw and maclean) IIRC he took to unliscensed boxing because he'd been in trouble with the law and couldn't get a proper boxing license.
there's no backing down with those guys, just forwrad, forward, forward until one of them gets knocked out...and fook me it looked like they can hit hard!!!0 -

yes they can hit bloody hard, but its undisciplined, windmilling brawling. Only one pro boxer springs to mind who could do this and thats tyson. Boxing is a disciplined sport and a half decent boxer wouldnt let either of them get close and it dont matter how hard you are a dozen good jabs and you're gonna get your bell wrung :P0 -
The second fight at the end of the clip, I wouldnt want to of been on the recieving end of that! Boxing was a lot more hardcore back then, nowadays they are to eager to step in after the michael watson incident.

Even the amature fights now (apart from all the pads) are a bit pansey. Still not been to one of these "Boxing" nights they hold a lot of round here, aparently most of the action happens in the crowd?0 -

oh i agree totally, one of my mates used to be world middle weight champion and i lived just around the corner from joe calzhage so i like my boxing
