I have a cannodale caffieine 2008, has or had an fsa crank on that needs replacing. Im not sure how to gauge what will fit it, im led to believe the cups or bracket are different. Ive been looking at shimano slx 660 on chanreaction. Any advice? Ive been to local bike shop who while very nice, id prefer to spend the money getting someone to do it on better kit. any advcie appreciated.

SLX comes with its own external bottom bracket system, so once the old bb is removed, this sytem will fit straight on.
Though you should get a shop to face the frame first ideally to prepare the bb shell.0 -

It helps - otherwise the bearings can wear out very quickly.0
