Hi this is a first time posting for me so any help would be greatfull.
I have a trek 6300 2010 model and when out the last week I seam to have buckled the front chainrings now the chain is rubbing against the derailer in the lowere gears on all 3 of the rings could have been anything that done it I guess but what I'm wanting to know is if there is anything I can use to take the buckel out or would it be just as easy to buy a new set?
Thanks in advance
and would like to say to all you crazy riders you lot must have balls of steal coming from cage fighting to mountain biking I can honestly say that this is a lot scarier than stepin in to a cage

Do all three rings appear to wobble in the same place when the chainset is revolved? Or is it one ring that is buckled?0

This sounds not like the chainrings, but either:
- a bent chainset spider
- bent bottom bracket axle
- damaged taper on crank arm
- loose crank
Try tightening the crank bolt first, should be a 8mm allen key. If that fails, then I think taking it to a shop for the mechanic to look at is the best bet.0 -
nice one thanks for the advice ill get that done next week il give him a ring tomorrow and see when he can look at it0
