Now that's a fine looking bike. I love high end xc machines - and this one's no exception0

Those American Classics are superb, got a pair on my ram and have given some serious abuse racing over the winter and still run dead straight (albeit only 60kg), tubeless ready as well. I know a few people on Moda this season and nobody has a bad thing to say amount them. components all good, is the frame the right size though, quite alot of post?0

got that wheelset on my bike too. Jury's still out on their longevity, although mine have also survived the winter very well. Can't argue with their strength, light weight and value for money though.0

V nice bike. Looks great.
If it was me I'd run the front brake line inside the fork leg though.http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg

Thanks for the nice comments.
Fastand furuios and ctrlaltdel, I totally agree the American Classic wheelset is great, Its £400 but weighs under 1500g and comes with titanium skewers and is tubeless ready, nice pick up speed and a lovely freehub sound plus they look the business, think they are ace value considering what you could spend to get a wheelset that weights the same.
The seatpost is a little high, I just picked up and fitted my seatcollar before I took the photos, I normally run it about and inch lower so it fits just fine.
Thinking about changing the brake and gear cables to white Jagwire's but may be too pimped that way0 -
stuning looking bike m8.where did you get that from.was it a self build or did it come like that.0
-
Very nice looking bike, thinking of getting those American Classic rims myself.
Stuck between those and Stans on Hope Pro II's..0 -
It's almost a stock build.
I have added the pedals, seatclamp, grips, headset spacers, carbon bottle cage and bottle and the chainstay guard.
I would definetly recommend the American classics, nice and strong with awesome weight and they look great.0 -
123 as far as I am aware the AC's use crest rims (If not very similar, also call the colour crest black), was also considering the pro2 option but the AC weight in 150g lighter, have very good hubs with steel faced freewheel preventing wear, extended spoke nipples, come tubeless ready with skewers and look very nice can be had for not much more bikeoutlet were doing them for £3000
-
AM Classic hubs aren't known for their durability, although better than they were. Certainly good value though, just need some more subtle decals!0
