Disc Brake Fluid Go Off?

I'm about to bleed my brakes and i have a new sealed bottle of Avid brake fluid (bought years ago) but the date on it is April 2006.

Will it be ok?? or am I better buying a new fresh bottle??

if sealed it will work. if it was open then maybe not.

what colour is the fluid?

clear with a slight yellow tinge. then fine.

Yes it was sealed, opened this morning. It is clear with a very faint yellow-ish to it.

Shall push on with my bleed today
