After 5 years of commuting 15-20miles a day you would have thought I would have learned one valuable little lesson :D ...whenever you change your tube or repair a puncture always and I mean always check that inner tyre for if you do not find that small piece of in bedded glass it will surely find you on the next outing  hence 2 punctures this week..I did check the inside of the tyre but was in a rush after work...eager to swap the tube over and get out on the highway ( I feel a song coming on :D ) that having not found the rather small piece of broken glass I paid the price and was rewarded with a second puncture..needless to say I did not make the same mistake twice......so be patient...and do the job properly :D

At least you still know how to change a tube. I've not had an flat in over 2 years and I've forgotten how to replace a tube. :o:o

Those Marathon Plus tyres are a real beauty :D
