my father has had a Kirk Precision road racing bike in the garage for about 20 years or so... as both he and the man who designed the bike worked for Fords in the same offices, he was able to get what he says is a concept version of the bike.Been ridden once and then left in storage.

Well today my father has announced that he as offered to give it to someone as he never uses it...

both my mother and i believe that this bike is worth a fair amount, but we cannot find anything online that can help us prove this fact.

AFAIK there's no cracking on the frame (I've seen this is a common problem) but the brakes are old and may need replacing while both tires are flat and will need new tubes (Yes it is hung upside down atm)

I've got one, I did some research and I dont think its worth as much as I thought and you might find the same, Theres been a few threads on bikeradar about these so have a search

I would think you'd sell it easily enough if its not cracked, I've seen them on ebay go for a couple of hundred quid.

You might find this link useful

Also I think there was a few threads on the retrobike forum about them to and I think they have a for sale section on there so you might try it on there where you are appealing to the right sort of target market if you want to sell it.

    Think of it like this.
It is a design classic of its time . No one will make any more and in time it will become more collectable.
Value as with all things,is what someone is prepared to pay.
I have one {New old stock} and have no wish to part with it.
If you have design drawings etc this will make it even more interesting.
