hahahahahahahaha

One of the (annoying) ladies in work came in today and was banging on about some waning light that came on on her car this morning.

I asked what it was and she said it was brake fluid.

I gave her a lift to Halfords at lunch where she got the fluid and I left her to it when we got back as "she knew what she was doing".

I went out after 5 mins to see what she was doing......

She'd only gone and filled up her coolant with brake fluid :lol::lol:

Cue her faffing around with a load of paper towels etc trying to soak up the oil from the coolant reservoir.
Fortunately, most of it was floating on top of the tiny bit of water that was in her coolant system.

Oh, and her brake fluid was fine

What a knob.

Fair play to him. I always go for the tightest possible hole.

one of my old workmates had this really old astra that used to burn quite a bit of oil off. his girlfriend was borrowing the car while we were at work so he told her to top the oil up before she went out.

she only filled the engine brim full!

I don't know what happened when she tried to start it, i imagine that there might have been a bit more smoke than usual

I remember an apprentice in our old workshops managing to pump about 25 litres of engine oil into the cooling system and vice versa with the coolant on a truck that was getting serviced...........It probably wouldn't have been quite as big a problem if he hadn't have started it up

Needless to say, he didn't last much longer!

I keep spare oil and screen wash in the back of the van. Only after putting oil in my washer water did I realise the bottles I had used were the same

I work in IT and it a weekly event for me to have to plug a power calbe or network cable in for a workmate who is shouting at the PC/Printer etc he is trying to get working.
