Summer summer summer time

Was working until silly o'clock last night so decided to head into the office at lunchtime today. I've been leaving at 7 and getting back at 9 so still not seen much daylight.
I'm shattered having had about 3 hours sleep but it's midday and I'm about to cycle to work in broad daylight and sunshine for the first time this year so I'll make the most of it.
Decent shorts? Check.
Weatherproof gloves? Nah. Fingerless mitts? Check
Decathlon shirt away, Rapha Jersey on.
Sunnies, Check.
Suitably tarted up I saunter out the door and down the stairs.
Halfway down I remember to go back and get the bike.
Poser fail

16:30 leave for me, but have to take the work van tonight...

I had nothing in my legs at all when I did come in. Friday + not enough sleep + not enough food does not for a speedy commute make. Was the very definition of all the gear and no idea.
I'm concerned I'll be found out if I venture home in daylight.0 -
hoping to do one early doors and catch sunset from Richmond Park. I actually might cry tears of happiness if it all comes together.0

I've got my full cold weather gear with me - I fear I may melt on the way home....

You must be very unlucky or have poo tyres to puncture on London BridgeIt's fairly smooth!

different bike different tyres, always the rear f**king wheel.
I blame the flipping roadworks going on down there.
this is what caused it -> http://twitpic.com/460yiw
it's like a metal toenail clipping. both sharp bits were embedded into the middle of the tyre.
need to wait to payday at EOM to buy some M+ I think.Hat + Beard0 -
M+'s aren't cheap and they've not been budgeted forHat + Beard0

I'm putting the new tyres - orange coloured Michelin Pro Race 3- on the Orbea tomorrow in readiness for any outbreaks of nice weather next week.
Orbea is the summer bike, no guards.0
