No FPS's please, cant play them at all, I gets kinda seasick!

I personally like company of heroes, battle strategy game.
Might not be your bag, but is fun, and has online multiplayer too

Company of Heroes is quite simply the best strategy game ever. Once you have that, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valour you should pop along to EasternFront.org and download this modification for free. The addition of the Soviet forces and modified US, Wehrmacht, Panzer Elite and Commonwealth forces is both worthy and brilliantly implemented. The Ostheer is on it's way too.

GTR2 is still a fav', the Total War series e.g Empire Total War and Rome II Total War are essential.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Fallout series are excellent if you're into RPGs.

I have started playing Rift since the Headstart on 24/2/11. Really good game, so if you like the MMO type, go for it.

BFBC2 Vietnam is my go to for a quick blast. Finally, Mass Effect 2 an Amazing game, and the best of 2010 IMO

GTR2 is only astonishingly good. There is also iRacing which is more or less the most realistic thing out there in terms of racing sims/games.

Splinter Cell: Conviction was not bad - not strictly an FPS.

What are the specs of the new computer btw?

Total War has moved on quite a lot.

Awful graphics, clunky combat and at the end of its life...

whats rift like? As an ex-player of the old cooker, a new platform version could tempt me back to giving my life away to the computer!

Cracking game, PM me if you thinking about getting it as we have a well established guild that has come over to our server from WoW im a member of, if your into end game raiding etc.

The game is very much like a new version of WoW, but better.

Rift is a WoW clone, not a bad thing but still a clone. (with wow being a clone of evercrack etc etc etc etc) Having played WoW for 6 years I tried Rift in beta and was bored to tears. It will steal some players though from Blizzard, which is a good thing.

The current games are Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, Eve Online (not for the faint hearted), Minecraft which is essentially Lego for the PC generation. I won't touch consoles with a 12ft clown pole, especially the w*nk arm generator the Wii.

I've played Dark Age of Camelot for the last 10 years on and off. The PVP is yet to be bettered in any game.

I've gotten bored of it recently though and stopped.
