Whyte 19 Steel custom project...

Hello all and good evening..
I have just acquired a Whyte 19 Steel frame. It is very nice and I want to do her justice.
Here is a photo. It is disabled at the moment, but I hope to breath life into this future creation.
Primary use: Cross country race.
Advice needed on:
Double or triple front rings?
If double, 2x9 or 2x10 ( I already have a 9 speed XO rear mech!)
Forks? Standard build is 120mm, or should I go for an adjustable airbetween 110-130 for race tuned geometry?
Rockshow Revelation U-Turn , any good?
Who has a Steel 19...how are you getting on? How much custom have done?
