10spd SLX Cassette on older XT hub

Wil a 10spd SLX cassette fit on a 2003 XT hub which currently has an 8spd cassette on?

I've seen a good deal on an SLX groupset and its time to replace some worn out components.
Too many bikes, not all fully built.

    yes as 8/9/10 speed bodies are the same.
