Yeah, yeah, it's not that good a surface, but it's not that long is it? :wink:

Don't fancy the trip home though :twisted:

    When I first watched it I heard a squeal just after 28 seconds and I thought that the dog had got hurt. It was only on the second viewing that I realised it was just afterwards that the rider hit the brakes for the first time. A dog would have squealed immediately if it had been hit...I hope...

    I winced at every telephone pole.....hit one of those and it's game over with no replays.

    There are two possible explanations for this;

    1) Balls the size of watermelons.
    2) Brains of a spaniel
    FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
    CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
    Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

    Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

    Kind of....yes, but not recognised officially. e.g. there are no UCI points in it,,,,

    Urban DH races are still fringe races, and done by the pro's for fun..and of course, for their sponsors.....

    that rider is Filip Polc....Slovakian DH rider, ranked 29th in the World UCI DH rankings at the moment....i.e. before the 2011 starts....

    This race is the Valparaiso Urban DH in Chile.....there are others in Portugal and Brazil (through some proper scary looking favella), and even here in the UK, Fat Face organise Urban DH races...there have been a couple in Edinburgh...it was in Scarborough last year.....not sure about this year.....
    Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.
