basso astra carbon frame 2009

hi all

i am looking around for a new bike, and have been offered a basso astra 2009 frame forks and headset for £1100 was £1799 has anyone got any views on this subject, and does anyone think it is a good deal

    Once bought a complete Basso Astra & Campag Record & American Classic wheels off eBay for £1150 so on that basis it's not a great deal! Nevertheless the offer is well below listed price so you takes your choice.

    Bassos are lovely bikes IMO but not being one of the most sought after brands they do not tend to fetch great prices secondhand. Another Basso Astra sold for £1300+ on eBay recently (Ulltegra 6700 build I think)

    There was a chap in Leics trying to sell his blue/black Astra frameset on eBay recently - it was secondhand but failed to attract a bid at £750 as I recall
