Pedals: Time Roc Atac

  • Very nice- except for 2 parts. Both just personal preference for me.

1st- The plastic ring is still on the back of the casette. Super turn off.
2nd- The ergo grips, I personally hate them, but if you get on with them, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I'm a huge fan of the Boardmans, been enjoying the riding so far?

How are those ergo grips? Did you buy them because you had issues with hand pain?

Ive got a Team HT and the rattling on fast descents hurts my knuckles ALOT.

The Ergon grips are extremely good. I really appreciated how good the other day when I briefly rode my mates bike with conventional grips.
The ergonomic grips take a while to get used too. It took about five rides before I was comfortable with them. The key is to have them horizontal and not tilting upwards. I'll never go back to normal round grips again.

And as you'll see on many posts on the forum, most people recommend using the small size rather than the large.

I have the 2011/12 Boarman team FS and love it! I notice you have covered your rear suspension with inner tube, is this a normal method for stopping crud getting in there? Ive never seen it before!

Also your seat post clamp is upside down! I know its not important and doesn't affect the function at all but I am that anally retentive that it would irritate me to death! : )

I'd forgotten that I did that last winter. Yes, it worked well for keeping the crud off. Not done it this winter though.

Not noticed. I will change that as it will annoy me now.
