Hi everyone, finally got round to showing off my 2009 built blue On-One 456. I've recently built up a Carbon 456 (I'll post some pics of that soon) so thought I'd put it on display before it has to go.

    That's very nice!

Strange choice of tyres for the snow though :)
  • Very strange tire choice indeed.

Nice looking bike though, only complaint from me would be maybe the grips are the wrong colour.

Nice build! Kinda agree with MM on the grip colour but overall great looking bike.
Looking forward to seeing your Carbon 456 pics..

    Thanks for the comments guys.

I chose the tyres mainly for hardpacked & gravel surfaces & because they're meant to be fast rolling (plus I got them for a tener each, so if they turned out to be cr*p it didn't matter too much). They coped quite well in the snow though.

Every bike has to have something red on it  I went for grips instead of the usual seat clamp.

be careful on hardpack that has loose stuff (stone / gravel) over it with those tyres. They can be absolutely lethal if you don't get the tyre pressure spot on. specially the front end.

Yeh, I have had the odd moment on loose surfaces. I think a grippier front tyre would be a wise investment. Excellent rear tyre for the terrain I ride though.

How do you find the handlebars?

I mainly got them because I can't stand the up sweep on riser bars & flat bars are usually too narrow.
I have to say I find them very comfortable because of the extra back sweep (15deg).
