Hi,
I have a GT Zaskar. I have taken pics of it but was unable to get them on the site. Too big or something.
Anyway amateur description. It is Yellow, 18" frame, Standard Shimano Deore XT brakes,
XTR gears, Marzochi Bomber forks, etc etc. Yes i know it is like going back to the 90's!!
Everything is in amazing condition but i want to get riding again and i am considering upgrading but don'y know where to start.
Bigger and better susspension maybe, Disc brakes, I don't know so any advice would be great.
Thank You yet again
Scott

does it work?
then use it as is.
if not replace/service.
bigger is not always better."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I may take it to Chevin Cycles, Get it a full service. Should i get the susspension serviced aswell? It has been sat for years0

The frame works best with 80-100mm of travel.
The forks are easy to strip and service at home. But if they are working ok, I'd just ride them.0 -
download a manual for the forks from here.

seal kits from CRC and find some appropriate oil, i did a set with no prior experience.0 -
If you was happy with the ride quailty in years gone bye dont worry as the hills and trails are still the same so a service is all it will need.0
