Spare reinforcement plate for Sidi Ergo 2 shoes?

Like a true dumb ass, I switched cleats over on my Ergo 2 shoes and over-tightened one of the cleats......result, I broke one off the thread holes in the shoe itself (which from the manual, seems to be from a reinforcement plate that is a separate part of the shoe sole).

Has anybody had any luck in sourcing replacement reinforcement plates for the Ergo 2 shoes?

I have looked online and rang the LBS, with no luck. Sidi UK may have some stock in a few weeks but sounds not great either (i.e. no definitive answer!).

Thanks for this but I think I need the same item, but for the Millenium 3 sole......Sidi don't have a great reputation for keeping up to date with having spares available for their latest products, which is a shame as they are great shoes.

Anybody else seen availability elsewhere?

Already have contacted Sidi UK direct and it is just a case of waiting and seeing if any turn up :roll:

OK, so problem sorted. I sent an email a while ago to the Sidi UK Distributor and they sent through a number of spare fastenings.

It was a bugger to change and felt like open-heart surgery on the shoes, but problem fixed
