it came over at 6.20 then again again just now at 7.55

Its coming over again in another 1 hour 40.

Look to the south west. It looks like a shooting star...but its not its the SPACE SHUTTLE.
The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.

Not the Space Shuttle either, well not on its own. It's the International Space Station, with the shuttle attached.

When I was a kid living in California, we were awoken one morning to what I thought was something exploding in the garage.

Later on we found out it was actually the Space Shuttle flying overhead on approach to landing at Edwards Air Force Base. Quite possibly the noise we heard was actually the sonic boom it created. Shame I didn't actually see it.

One of my earliest memories is of the shuttle flying piggyback on a 747 over Scotland...for years i thought i had imagined this and it was just a childhood imagination but then found out it actually happened, was on a flypast of a Rockwell facility. Unfortunately cant find any footage of it anywhere now :(

Yep I saw that too over London, weird thing to see but cool at the same time.

It would have been the sonic boom as after re-entry, the space shuttle is a huge glider....one chance to land!
