Hi,

Basically i have not been riding for years. I have a hard tail GT Zaskar that needs to be clear of years of dust. Dependant how things go i will be wanting to either upgrade various parts on the GT or possible get a new bilke.
None of my mates are interested so i am after a group who wouldnt mind me tagging along. As i say i am way out of the loop and need to buy clothing, helmet etc.

I just need some advice really.

I am 29, Live in Leeds and want to do something other than the boring gym!

Thanks again everyone

    Mmmm........ Zaskar.....

You'll find a few people on here who love them!

Check out the rides section, there is always something going on in there. MTB'ers are generally a friendly bunch.

Give the Zasker a chance! It hasn't got any worse over the years just because other bikes have got better/changed style. I have a mid 90's Kona that comes out when my modern bike is out of action. Still does the job when needed, if a little slower.
