What's the best thing to clean a used handlebar?

I've received a used road bar that I'm going to fit but want to get all the left over tape glue off.

What's best to use? Something like white spirit?

Just try a baby wipe first, cleans most things.

Lighter fuel will do it but try the wipes first.
