11-32 cassette with Shimano RS30 wheels?

I have just bought some Shimano RS30 wheels (in white, very bling). The instructions say the largest sprocket must be in the range 21-28T, but I am hoping to get a bike with SRAM Apex in the near future which can have a 11-32T cassette.

Do you think the 32T sprocket would be okay with these wheels? I don't understand why the size of the largest sprocket is restricted.

Many thanks,
Ian

the mech restricts the big cog size. Shimano Road mechs have a listed biggest cog use of 28T.

As the OP said, he's thinking of changing to SRAM Apex in the future so the 28t limit won't apply.

I can't see any reason why a 32t cassette won't fit on those wheels.

Thanks to both of you. I couldn't understand why the wheels would make a difference, but obviously the mech does.

    Cheers.

Cassette will fit fine, but as stated, will not work with a standard road rear mech if using an 11-32 cassette.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Thanks. Yes, but the SRAM Apex has a "long arm" option designed for an 11-32T cassette.
