Garmin 800 newbie question

I'm looking to get a Garmin 800 with the Ordnance Survey maps. Its main purpose will be for navigating new longer routes - I'm getting a bit bored of printing out 20-page maps and stopping every 10mins to see where I'm going...

Is it a simple matter to upload my collection of old GPX routes onto the Garmin? I can't seem to find any simple instructions how you would do this?

Cheers

You manually place them in the New routes/ courses folder. It then automatically puts them where they need to go and converts them to a new file type, (cant remember the name .fit or something).
