In looking at various shapes and sized bars, I am trying to work how much difference in reach there are between different bars.

For example Easton EA70 Ergo have a reach of 78mm. I'm assuming this is short reach, how does this compare to other bars?

You need to look at the measurements on the sites and also do you want ergo, classic drop or compact type drop. reach can be altered on Shimano with shims

  • I'm using Deda big piega at the moment and can't seem to find out the measurement for reach without measuring them.

I'm running an 80mm stem which I find a bit twitchy so was hoping a new set of bars may help bring the levers a bit closer in.

The new Cinelli Graphis compact bars have a very small reach if that helps.
