Anyone of knowing any decent mtb web logs?
The mainstream sources don't really hold my attention: I'm not interested in the latest titanium cable nipples, or what's going on in South Wales. I'd prefer to read something more down to earth, riding for the sake of riding, and documenting it for no other reason than to share stories and enthusiasm.
It has to be British. No particular niche, racing, fixies, or otherwise. Just straight up, getting out into the countryside and pedaling for a bit. There must be some entertaining writers out there?

I don't know about entertaining, but I did start my own blog last summer. Just to document the rides I had done.

Was thinking about it actually. I spend way too much time lurking around on forums, and, well, doing pretty much nothing productive. I could certainly put that time to better use.
But I need to be inspired to get out on my bike in the first place, so I need someone else to have written one for me to read first...0 -
I try to write stories that are just that; based around the life of a biker. I've got quite a few posts now and try to keep it going. Blog in the sig.
You should check out The Ride Journal. It's a very nicely produced magazine with only stories, no reviews, no news, no trails. Really nice art work too.
Let me know if you read the blog, I'm always after feedback.0 -
Check this out. They can't spell worth a sh*t but they love to ride bikes and they've done some quite cool rides, sleeping out under a tarp and stuff like that.
