Advice please: cycle hire, organised rides, Puerto Pollensa

We're off to Mallorca this April, staying near Puerto Pollensa. As I'm the only cyclist in the family I'm seeking advice on....
Best place to hire a road bike in Puerto Pollensa.
Whether I'd be best booking a bike in advance, or walking up once I'm there to hire.
Whether there are any organised rides I could join......I'm 48, fairly fit, AND usually a solo cyclist of rides up to about 50 miles plus one or two longer sportives each year.

These guys are in Puerto Pollensa. I hired off them in 2009 and thought they were great.

One word of caution. If the temperature gets up in April you need to get out on the road early and back before the midday sun and take plenty of water with you.

I believe there is a daily ride from Procycle hire.
They are good although take your own pedals, their SPD clones are dire0
