Crankset & Bottom Bracket

I've just picked up a new Moda Presto Full suss frame and am looking for a bit of help choosing the most appropriate crank & bottom bracket for it.
I've got a Truvativ Stylo GXP on my Focus & wondered (hoped ) that I'd just be able to transfer this over onto the Moda - would this be possible?
I'm told that the Moda needs a "standard English thread 68mm shell" and if I was to use a Deore crankset then "three spacers you will need to put two on the drive side and one on the non drive side behind the bearing cups" does this sound like the GXP would fit? I'm a little confused about axle length and chainline

how many spacers depends on the BB width. ( shimao and Sram use different combos of spacers).
