I'm just building up a dream summer bike, and have always liked the styling of the SL-K stuff. Now its on a 30% discount when you buy 2 or more bits, I'm looking at the seatpost, stem, bars and possibly compact chainset.

Reviews are a little thin on the ground so I'm wondering what people think? I like the idea of matching finishing kit but is there anything else I should look at instead for better performance or value?

Their stuffs good. they make kit for bike firms but rebadge it - Colnago being an obvious one but a lot of teams use their bars/stems and chainsets.

Run K-Force cranks for 3 years now with no troubles. Chainrings aren't the lightest but function well.

I swapped from Dura ace to an FSA slk light chainset last year and i can't fault it, it's light, stiff and does the job . I can't say anymore than that.

cheers all - seems like its worth taking the plunge :D

I've got a Gossamer chainset on on old bike and the CX version on my cross racer and they've been fine, but you never know if the big leap in cost is really worth it for the high end stuff.

I'm also cautious when I begin to eye stuff because it looks good, and this year's SL-K branding looks very nice IMHO.

    Happy with it!

Personaly i dont like color of the chainrings on the SL-K chainset, but thats probaly because they wouldnt match my bike.

I've got an SLK seatpost and bars, they are both fine, they also look pretty good. I also have other FSA bars and stem on another bike and they perform very well also. Whilst the stuff is made in Taiwan their design centre, I believe, is in Italy.

I have K-Force finishing kit on my old 'best bike', which is just about to be stripped and sold as it's no longer the best bike...
    PM me if interested...
