Yup, not drafted behind one, had one take a tow from me for about 1 1/2 miles on the way into work the cheeky sod.

I know diesel is at it's most expensive for years but I thought those guys run on subsidised fuel anyway?
FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

  • You mean you weren't able to scalp him? What is the FCN of a tractor anyway?

    Not subsidised but no/reduced duty/tax.

No Underscore, the tractor couldn't overtake SimonAH

Its hard to work out the FCN of a tractor. The only thing I can say for certain is that it is on knobblies!
FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
    FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse

Just don't draft tractors towing a big trailer of fresh manure - me and a mate took advantage of a high speed tow (25-30 mph) - but soon realised it was a mistake... stunk like a cow shed upon arriving home.

A tractor isn't going to get much of a tow from a cyclist!

Depends how wide the cyclist is ...

Depends how wide the cyclist is ...

...and/or how fast the cyclist is going. A 200mph cyclist would leave a 'hole in the air' big enough for a tractor to benefit.
