organics for dry, sintered for wet and bed them in correctly.

but one ride in wet and muddy conditions can wear out any pads.

you are talking about rim brakes?

for sure, riding in mud will wear out pads very quickly.

that is one reason why I've covnerted my lot to disc brakes - the disc gets nowhere near as much much as a rim would.
  • hi yes they are discs pads i was refering too :D

I used the Superstar ones and Disco Brakes ones in my Aurigas, both sintered, the Superstar ones lasted pretty well, Discos not quite as long and never felt as powerful.

More than happy with Superstar's sintered pads. I can't tell any difference between them and the proppa Avid/Shimano pads except they are a lot cheaper.

    And they come with Haribo.

Superstar and Haribo, can't go wrong. Just don't mix them up. The pads taste crap.
