Hi,
Novice mountain biker here, when it comes to tech anyway.

I've notice the RockShox Toras on my Gary Fisher Tassajara are really slow to rebound, is there anything i can do to speed it up? Pretty sure the rebound is already at its fastest as indicated by the handy rabbit/tortoise sticker.
Any help much appreciated.

make sure it is as far as it will go.

    which adjuster is it?

  • Yeah it is. It's the one at the dropout. I had recon sl on my last bike which rebounded like a bouncy ball. I do XC mostly but try and get a bit of air on the downhill bits when i can.
Would i be able to swap forks from my old bike easy enough?

Yes swapping forks is easy, undo brakes, and the stem. Remove spacers, take out fork. Put new fork in and reconnect brake etc.

If the rebound is slow when it's on it's fastest they're not working properly. If there was no oil they'd be at their fastest, ie undamped, but they're obviously not right.
