Took a gamble on this as it's from a German company who sell direct - hence why their prices are silly value for money.
Wanted to get something for local downhill after selling my Iron Horse Sunday last year. Fancied something a bit lighter and couldn't resist this.
Ordered a medium - which is about right [am 6ft], but wouldn't want it any smaller. Could probably go large, but i'm happy with how easy it is to manouvre.
Did come with an SLX front mech and double chainring. I've ditched the granny, mech and changer and kept the 36 ring with a Superstar chainguide.
Rides really sweet, the fork, although a basic Van R is great - takes all the hits and isn't complex to set up or maintain. Nice touches such as a built in sag meter and cable rub patches allover are cool. And the anodised black finish is sweet.
Think we will see more and more of Canyon as they expand their advertising and UK centre [they have a UK point of contact now].
Happy chappy!!

WOO!
Looks ace!
I've got one of the Nerve AMs on order, should be here in around 3 weeks.
Their UK contact is great too. Wanted to know if they could change the spec slightly on mine (they can't) and they got back to me within a couple of hours.
I'm almost as excited to see this "special box" they send it in as I am to see the bike itself Supposed to be another feat of German engineering.
And as an added bonus, they throw in a torque wrench and shock pump. Bargaintastic!0 -
