It was filmed in 1991 by Grampian TV but is still worth a look, if only to see how much bikes have changed!
The Highland Cross is a race through fantastic scenery from one side of the Highlands to the other, a 20 mile run and 30 mile cycle. Still on the go today but due to popularity it's limited to team entries, not individuals :-(
