magicshine mj818 mounting

hi,

i remember seeing a post on here where a member had mounted his magicshone mj818 (rear) to a toppeak pannier rack, it had a photo of the home made mount

i cannot find it, can you??

    Yes...me.........

    Some 25mm or so plastic tubing, covered with black duck tape and bar end stops used. Two cable ties to secure to light strap on Topeak MTX bag.

    Drilled holes top bottom - two top, two bottom and used two cable ties. spaced the holes wider than the tag on the bag.

    You can also drill holes through and attach to rack, but don't use bolts and washers as these can pull through - if you do, use cable ties.

    I tried that way first, but it was to easy to knock the mount off as my 'post' was quite wide and the panniers caught it when taking off.

    Damn, read that as machinegun mounting and thought that D-locks had been overtaken in an arms race........
