They are for an upgrade from a 2009 trek 1.7 stock wheels. so let me know if you think for the price there would be a lighter or stronger wheel training and sportive wheel ?

I've got these on my winter bike and have been pleased with them. Got them from all terrain cycles

Lighter for the price you can probably find, check out Merlin cycles
Lighter and stronger? Dunno, the Hopes seem pretty bombproof, beware they do click loudly enough to turn heads when you're freewheeling0 -
I have the same hubs but just got my LBS to build them up for me, so that may be an option for you. Went for Ambrosio Excellence rims though on there recommendation.
As said the free hub is a little loud at first, but I quite like it now.0 -

Oooops should have looked at the allterrain cycles as they are my LBS and i goy my trek from them.
Prices look a bargin ithink i will have to bob along there and see if i can pick them up.
Thank all forthe quick replys. They do look like good wheels for the money.
As for the loud freewheeling noise.... good reason to keep peddeling you slackersNothing in life can not be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas
