:o What have I been doing all winter???

I have an ancient set of lights that have only ever been used in anger about 5 or 6 times. While d!cking about in the garage on Tuesday night I thought I'd stick them on charge to see if they still work......... and they did!

So last night I fitted them to my trusty steed and headed out in to the woods, intense! It was a bit hairy when hitting very muddy patches of ground as they pretty much looked the same as the non-muddy areas. I got a bit spooked by a mouthy Owl  but soon got over it when I hit the next hill.

Far better than sitting on a turbo trainer, wish I'd spent the money that I did on that on a modern set of lights instead... :?
XC: Giant Anthem X
Fun: Yeti SB66
Road: Litespeed C1, Cannondale Supersix Evo, Cervelo R5
Trainer: Bianchi via Nirone
Hack: GT hardtail with Schwalbe City Jets

    Nice one!

February is probably the best time to start night riding. Those evenings in October when it's mild and dry - but dark - seem a long way off now. It has been a very long winter :(
