Chain suck nightmare

Hi Guys,
I've got a 2011 Cannondale Flash 4 that suffers with chain suck and I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of a solution?
It only seems to happen when it's really gritty and muddy but other bikes don't suffer from this (my previous Taurine didn't have any problems). Whilst the chain is worn according to the park tool, the cassette and front chainrings still have loads of life in them yet. I'm running an FSA crankset, SRAM Chain & Cassette with a SRAM X.0 short cage rear mech. The gears are setup fine front and back and the problem only occurs in the middle ring when the pedals are under quite a bit of load. The teeth on the crank don't look that worn out and the drive chain has only covered about 700 miles, which is a mix of road and off road.
I tried fitting a new chain the other day and on the test ride up the road the chain suck was really bad (worse than the old chain currently fitted) and this was on a clean bike, even shortening the chain didn't help, so I put the old chain back on. I've done some searching around and some people point to the front ring could be worn, but after such short mileage I can't believe that's the case, especially when the teeth look in good nick.
All suggestions welcome,
Dave

Thanks for the link.
From reading that it seems it 'could' be down to the quality of the front chainring.0
