Mavic Carbone SL Owners

Would anyone else agree that the Mavic Carbone SL front wheel (16 Stainless Steel spokes) is not stiff enough when sprinting / climbing / out of saddle?
Does anyone know if the Carbone SR (20 carbon spokes) is stiffer than the SL?
Thought about posting in Road Buying Advice but thought it would get more hits here.

Apologies if this is an irrelevance, but just in case....
I've only just got mine and only done an hour on them, but noticed that the front hub was delivered with the bearings loose.
Could give similar pad rubbing.0 -
Hmm, I was pondering this, fair amount of lateral movement when wobbled with fingers, seemed fine when riding, without sounding too silly, how would one go about tightening the bearings?

Mine are slightly loose as it happens. But so marginal.
When i spin them in my hands by holding the axle i can feel the bearings rubbing ever so slightly, when i push the sides in they are smooth, and there is the slightest of movement in the axle (estimate of 0.4mm)
I did consider the slightly loose axle could be causing the sensation.
After reading the review on CRC it mentions the SR as being "stiff" but doesnt mention the anything about the SL being stiff.
This is the only reason i think the 20 spokes might be stiffer.
Im about 14 Stone. (95kg)0 -

You get a puny plastic spanner with 4 flimsy pins on with the wheels. With the wheel attached to the bike, you use this to tighten/loosen the cup on the hub.0 -
No experience of the SLs or the SRs but I do have SLRs (now called SRs) - I'm 15st+ and not had any problems with stiffness of the wheels. I run my brake blocks very close to the rim and have not experienced any rubbing at all - climbing or sprinting.0
