Anyone on here use one for the bike? I was thinking of getting one as i can't quite afford the 500 or the 805.

I use a forerunner 405 on my bike, the only stumbling block, for me, is the battery life, 6-8hrs is fine for running, just not long enough for cycling, mine went flat 110 miles into a 127.5 mile ride on Sat

I have the FR60 which to be honest is fine and enough for what I need. No GPS but who cares Its the HR I am really interested in and there is an excellent little foot pod for running.
It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.

Cheapest I can see the FR110 for with a quick Google is about £115.

You can get an Edge 500 for £137 from Handtec.

I'd find an extra £22 if it were me and get something designed for the bike.
    More problems but still living....
