Riding in the cold is giving me very sore lips - I have taken to using a 'Buff' bandit style - which keeps my face warm - can't be sure but could this be making my sore lips problem worse ?

Any Tips

Neutrogena lip balm assuming that you're a fella, if not I'd recommend padded shorts...

    Purol Zalf.

If you're ever in the Netherlands, that is THE best thing EVER for sore lips (and indeed, any skin issues - wounds, rashes whatever.)

It's so good I still cannot believe it hasn't made it beyond the Dutch boarders.

    It's everything Vaseline isn't.

    OP Here - I am a bloke.

Thanks for all the advice. do you reckon the buff makes it worse ?
  • I would think the Buff makes it worse. Same sort of thing as getting told not to keep licking your lips if they are sore and it's cold and windy out (well I did when I was a kid) :D
Wouldn't your breath create a moist atmosphere around your lips which then gets battered by the wind? You need to get something on them that forms a protective barrier such as any or all of the balms/vaselines do.
