Do Dura Ace WH-7850 CL-24 need rim tape ?
I'll initially be running with clinchers.
Merlin, who I ordered off advised me not, perhaps they thought I'd be running tubeless, a quick scan of the interweb refers to people using rim tape.
They're arriving tomorrow and I'd hate not to be able to use them for lack of rim tape of all things.

Cheers

They were initially designed to be run without rim tape but then I think Shimano back tracked and suggested you should use it. They should already come pre-installed with a blue plasticky rim tape straight from the factory.
