XC routes in Moelfre (nr Ruthin)

Planning a trip here but have absolutely no idea where to go...

Does anyone have a link to somewhere with a detailed map or instructions etc? Or is it easy to find trails?

    Where exactly are you planning to go? There is not a Moelfre near Ruthin as far as I (and google maps) are aware.

    believe its called moelfre hall, not the one by the coast.

    basically there's a race there in a few weeks where there supposed to be rebuilding the world cup xc route but can't find any routes anywhere online :(

    Ahhh right, you mean the Moelfre near Oswestry which is 30 miles south of Ruthin. Best bet from here is probably the Ceiriog Valley.

    There's some good riding to be had around here. The hills are pretty steep and be warned some of the terrain can be pretty gnarly :D

    You could just get an OS map and go exploring the miles of bridelways that are around here.

    Again Llandegla is not too far away if you fancy a trail centre blast.

    i'm guessing you're off to BUCS with me then!! I had a look around the internet but can't really see much.
    The organisers have said the XC isn't gunna be up to a great standard and they're still building it!
