Hey guys so been away from MB for along time, and wanting to get back in, So I took my Kona out and saw that the back break is not working properly =(
At where you pull for the break the cable is coming out the black wire as come out along with a silver bit at the end only conected to the handle by the thin silver cable.

Anyone know what to do? Sorry its been so long I don't know the names for any of the parts of the bike anymore!!! Been rock Climbing to much! =D

On the basis that it's your brakes (breaks are for Kitkats) and you don't have any idea how they work, I think you should take the bike to a bike shop.

  • Spelling Police out again.

Its more annoying to me do what i've just done.

Breaks brakes is an easy typo.

Kit Kat is spelt as that - we all make them.

From the scatty info, it seems he has cable discs which should not be too hard to fix himself - let's wait for pic before advising to go to the shop.
