Hi I am very new to road cycling I bought my first road bike last spring, a Trek 1.1. which I love to bits and have done a fair few miles with and a couple of sportives. But now I know I enjoy my cycling I would like to buy something a little better. Bearing in mind this would be my only purchase for a few years ( young childre and a wife!!!!) I am considering a Ribble pro evo carbon, is the best my money can buy I dont want to get it wrong any advice would be great
Thanks in advance Jezz

Ribble bikes are good value and don't be put off by their own branding. Worth reading this:

I bought an Evo-Pro/Athena 5 months ago and have enjoyed 1400 miles of trouble free riding.I too had to mind the pennies, but I haven't seen anything since to make me regret my purchase.0
