What has happened to the Chas Messenger RR

I was hoping to do the Chas Messenger RR this year, but can't find it on any of the BC calendar. Am I being thick or is it not being run this year?

    I don’t know about the Chas specifically but I don’t think all this year’s races have made it into the calendar yet. There are a quite a few that I’m planning to enter that don’t seem to be there. They can’t all have been cancelled.

    That was something I thought about but it is traditionally at the start of May and although Central region seemed pretty slow at getting their races into the BC calendar, there are now quite a few of them up there, so I would have thought that the Chas messenger would also have been up by now as well.

    The Chas is going to happen this year, but details are still being worked out. Latest I heard is that it is likely to happen at the end of August. It is also looking like it will be a 2 day for 2/3 cat riders only, rather than the E123 race it was previously.

    Keep checking back on the calendar.
