Ribble Pro Evo Carbon

Hi I am fairly new to road cycling I bought a Trek 1.1 last year which I love to bits and have done a fair few miles on but would now like a new bike, I am looking at a Ribble pro evo carbon my max budget is £1000.00 is this the best I can buy for my money?? , as this is the only chance to get it right. Thanks for your advice in advance.
