    Mornings All

Off to Wharncliffe for more fettling on the Herb. Didn't get much of a chance yesterday what with the weather being so wet.

Looks bright and cheerful here today.
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

  • Morning all.

    Valentines Day sucks.

    Meh.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

  • One humungous coffee loaded with an extra shot from the coffee shop below my new office and I feel as perky as teen nymph nipples on a cool breezy morning :¬)

Plus... the dolly bird who works at the coffee shop is from Eastern Europe and she's as cute as kittens.. before the "POIDH Posse" lynch me, I am trying to work out how to get a photo of her..
I don't want her to think I am some psycho stalkker dingbat...

    Good Afternoon Freaks!

    And a Happy Valentine's Day.

I would appear I have a 'stalker' in my new department. Received a Valentine's card in the post today which says: "Roses are red, Violets are blue, since you came into the office, I've got the hots for you"

Apart from that, my new minion's started this morning, so busy getting them up to speed on everything (where the canteen is, how I take my coffee etc...).

    Laters...

    Good afternoon

Went into uni for a lecture, it was rubbish. Promtly left uni. Will go back in later for a proper lecture.

Had a wonderful brunch of bacon baps, flatmates were slightly horrified at me eating 12 rashers but it was so nice I couldn't help it.

Need to book some train tickets home for next weekend, can't decide which option to go with because of trains having bike policies. Thinking of taking Ciltern Railways to Birmingham which isn't a problem, but then I have to take the Cross Country to Burton and have no idea what they're like with bikes :?

What happens if the stalker turns out to be a man!??!!

On a more serious note, was the card hand written? If so, do some handwriting comparisons...

Afternoon. Today, I slept through my only lecture, wandered into uni to do no work, essentially stole a tenner off a mate, arranged a date with a female type thing, and nearly got killed for making jokes about short people to a short person.

    A good day, so far.

Should have told that person to be a little understanding of your humour

When asked why I wasn't running away from her furious fists, I told her that I'd never been beaten up by a midget, and wanted to try it.

    Then I ran away. :)

be careful, some of the small one's are pretty fierce. 4ft 11 Mrs Spong floored a 6ft 8 Lithuanian when he took the piss.

Let me guess? A blow to the head? I mean, she was at the perfect height after all...

Knee in the wotsits, then an almighty whack to the chin. Out cold. No more problems with staff after that.
