New Club in Watford

Hey guys. There's a new Cycling Club in Watford, Hertfordshire.

It's called Watford Velo Sport, we ride most weekends and also do events. We're looking to get more members and enter more events including charity fund raisers... London to Paris has been mentioned!

We usually ride around Watford-Sarrat-Chipperfield-Wipsnade-Dunstable and anywhere where there's decent hills and cafes!

All levels of rider are welcome..

Oh we also do Turbo Training on Mondays

    sounds great, I live in Croxley, but only in the holidays, uni in Norwich see. still, if youre running rides in easter I would certainly be interested.

    Sounds good, I'm also in Croxley so would love to come along on one of your rides. Would have to be beginner level though... :oops:

    Sorry I missed your posts guys!

    Thanks for the replies... be great to see you guys out for a ride. We also stick with the back rider to make sure they are comfortable with the ride so dont worry!

    I'm not sure there are any other clubs in Watford... but if you know of any let me know!

    Also if any of you fancy MTBin around Watford or Croxsley give me a shout!

    Hi guys, just seen your posting & im definately interested. I'm in leavesden so not far for me to go. Only trouble is i do shift work so cant really attend regulary. Also a bit worried that im not as fit as you guys (looking at facebook posting sugesting 55miles in 3 hours) im fairly new to cycling & so far my longest rides only been 54 miles & that was about 4 hours. :?
    I've joined spokes group sw herts, been out for 3 or 4 rides with them & its been nice, relaxed & good fun but not really road bike oriented. lots of trails, tow paths & sustrans routes. Really handy for finding out about new routes.
